All About Organic Food

What is organic?

The USDA defines organic food as “food produced using methods that meet certain standards set forth by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).” These standards were established to protect consumers from harmful pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. In addition, organic foods have no added hormones or antibiotics.

Why should I buy organic?

First, organic produce is grown without the use of toxic chemicals & synthetic fertilizers. Second, organic produce is free of GMOs, which means it does not contain genetically modified organisms. Third, organic produce is grown in clean environments. Finally, organic produce is grown under strict guidelines that require farmers to follow.

How do I know if my produce is organic?

You can find out whether your produce is organic by looking at the label. If the item says “100% organic,” then it is certified organic. However, some items may say “made with organic ingredients,” which means that the product contains organic ingredients but was not necessarily grown organically.

Where can I buy organic groceries?

If you want to shop for organic groceries, you can visit local farmer’s markets, natural food stores, co-ops, and even some grocery stores. We take all your pain and supply organic grocery at your door step. We carefully procure from farmers and directly supplying to you with a good packing.
